Doba claims to be one of the most trusted dropship solution directories in the industry and I wanted to see for myself.  There are many glowing reviews out there on Doba but they really don't tell you the specifics or how DOBA matches up against the competitors. 

That is why I decided to give DOBA a try on my own and see if DOBA really is one of the best drop ship source suppliers available.

After researching and testing DOBA I will tell you it has it's good sides and bad sides. I will list each of them below in my review but would also suggest since DOBA provides a Free 7 Day Trial, test the product out for yourself. Much of what I critiqued was based on personal selling preferences, but others such as yourself may not be affected by such issues when operating your dropship business.

What makes DOBA different than other dropship source

 directories?

I prefer my own contact with wholesalers and dropshippers because I like to establish a relationship with companies I am dealing with. If you do not want the hassle of dealing directly with wholesalers and establishing lines of credit or purchasing requirements with each wholesaler then DOBA is the solution for you. Doba, unlike Worldwide Brands, deals directly with the wholesaler. This simplifies the process for the new dropship website owners like yourself because DOBA finds the wholesaler, negotiates the prices, and then uploads the database of products to their website. You then locate the product you want to sell, list the description and use the images provided by DOBA on your website, choose your selling price, and sell the item to your customer. You then order the item through DOBA who takes care of getting the product shipped to your customer from the wholesaler, paying the wholesaler, and handling returns if there is a problem with the item.

Doba Extras / What is so special about DOBA?

Many people start a dropship business and don't have a clue what to do once they get quality products to sell. A good company like Doba will assist you in succeeding in your new business venture. Doba has an exclusive training center for it's customers that will teach you everything you need to know about selling on eBay and running an ecommerce website. I personally think that these resources are invaluable for anyone new to dropshipping and are a definite plus for the DOBA and it's dropship package.

When looking at dropship source directories I always check out their affiliations and credentials. Major companies will not associate themselves with fly by night and second rate businesses. Doba is an eBay certified Provider. This certification is eBay's coveted validation of businesses helping online buyers and sellers achieve their objectives. eBay reserves this high honor for only a select few that have met strict qualification criteria and continually uphold a higher standard of service excellence. Doba is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and holds a satisfactory rating. This means a lot because Doba works hard to satisfy it's customers and their rating shows just that. Doba was also ranked in the top 25 of 2007 INC 500 for the fastest growing companies. Internet businesses will only grow through a high satisfaction rating and great customer service, and DOBA has grown since it's inception in 1992.
